Ok my answer will be very different from others but l want you to consider Manusmriti as basic source for understanding it. Manusmriti was constitution of India prior to British empire. Women were treated more inhumanely in Hinduism as written in Manusmriti, Women had no rights neither of studying nor of Expressing their view Sati-pratha, Dasi pratha and if we go to south women's condition was even more miserable. l suggest you to study Hindu code Bill of Ambedkar. How much effort he made to reform Hinduism.
Women were not allowed to study one person could had many wives. as you can refer to mahabharat and any holy text of Hinduism. There was a rule that a Brahmin could marry in Brahmin Kshatriya vaishya and Kshatriya only can marry Kshatriya vaishya following vaishya could only marry vaishya and shudra women were treated as sex toy. i.e. 45% of Indian population ….
So the question asked what was the condition in South India? as l said South lndia was facing the worst face of Vedic religion, women of lower caste (mostly obc and sc) had to go to the purohits or Pandit (who prays in temple) for three nights or even weeks it was mandatory for every lower caste women to have illegal relationship to pandits before going to their husband’s home in India before till 20th century Ad whether of OBC or SC or ST.And it was considered that purohit or priest give blessings in this way. It's true that untouchability was there but the forward castes forcibly made shudra women their dasi or as sex toy but never married them. Even in east India these practices were being followed till our First Republic day. Constitution ultimately led to the end of these practices upto 98% like germs 2% still survived.
But after the Periyar’s efforts the situation changed in south also Because of Dr. Ambedkar’s reforms 98% practices got abolished but one to 2 percent is still followed in South. After many years of adoption of constitution sometimes many reports still claims that in very traditional villages this type of bad cults are still followed but the no. Is less. And also bride had to sit in the laps of priest until the whole mantra of marriage which they chant gets over.
But because of social reformers of Britishers, Periyar and mostly Dr Ambedkar everything changed despite of Forward class's hate towards OBC SC and ST, thankfully very less such things are practiced now in India. Still news of exploitation over Lower caste people comes regularly. Women had to face the worst from Vedic people's. From medieval to modern era but the no.s goes on decreasing.
Even the kshatriya women were not safe, and in medieval times both kshatriya and Brahmins shared their wife's and daughters to each other when latter arrived as a guest. (Mentioned in manusmriti and various other grantha) leaving this rest were followed till 20th century AD. And small cases of this type are still followed.

They are doing this deliberately we all know at time of British also Brahmins imposed breast tax mentioned in NCERT where women were not allowed to wear clothes above waist. Question 1: Who is eternal Brahman?
Let me quote an interesting story from Brihadaranyaka Upanishad. The context is a debate between great sage Yajnyavalkya and a Brahmavadini namely Gaargi. Gaargi asks Yajnyavalkya the same question - “Who is Brahma?”.
But Yajnyavalkya cannot directly answer this question since by definition, Brahma is that which cannot be described.

Brhm is an unknowable reality, the “source of creation”.
Unknowable to humans, at least.
Our brains are too primitive to comprehend that reality.
So we have to “approach an understanding” of that reality thru many perspectives and approaches (paths). One reality, many approaches. It is experiential.
And that experience is deeply revealing.
That state which you achieve with that experience reveals who you are!

If one can answer this question, then they can freely target Hinduism and its castes.The question is “ Why is it made compulsory for anyone (male or female ) who intend to marry a Muslim male or female to get converted to Islam first and then only allowed to marry".Remember even if it is a non Muslim boy who wants to marry a Muslim girl, the boy only has to get converted to Islam.There can be exceptions at Celebrity level.I think answer to this question will reply all the questions like above.Frankly, I don't know about the affairs in Christianity.

Brahman just means god. In the Vedas, god is called Brahman.
When you pray to Krishna or Shiva etc, you are praying to Brahman.
The word Brahmin means those who worship Brahman.
Hinduism is called Brahmanism, which means again worship of Brahman.
Saguna brahma means god with qualities like name and form, like Krishna.
Nirguna brahma means the transcendental idea of god without name or form or any qualities.
Both are the same, but obviously we worship Saguna Brahma because without qualities, we can’t worship god.
At highest samadhi, called Nirvikalpa samadhi, both the devotee and god vanish and Nirgun

Shudras were historically those group of people who did not do/have the Upanayana ceremony and hence were not considered Dvijas(twice born).
Dvija term is not mentioned much in the Vedas or the Vedangas and comes only in the Ramayana/Mahabharata and the Dharmasutras and Dharmashashtras.
