*•Employment Impact:* Over one crore temporary and part-time jobs likely to be created, benefiting decorators, caterers, florists, artists, transporters, and MSMEs in textiles, jewellery, packaging, and logistics.
*•Regional Highlight:* Delhi alone will contribute about ₹1.8 lakh crore from 4.8 lakh weddings.
*•Tax Revenue:* Estimated ₹75,000 crore in government tax receipts (GST and others).
*•Comment:* CAIT Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal noted weddings as a strong driver of domestic trade, self-reliance, and employment momentum.
