*एतां विभूतिं योगं च मम यो वेत्ति तत्त्वत: ।*

*सोऽविकल्पेन योगेन युज्यते नात्र संशय: ॥ 10.7 ॥*

etām — यह सब ; vibhūtim — ऐश्वर्य ; yogam — रहस्यमयी शक्ति ; ca — भी ; mama — मेरा ; yaḥ — जो कोई ; vetti — जानता है ; tattvataḥ — तथ्यात्मक रूप से ; saḥ — वह ; avikalpena — बिना विभाजन के ; yogena — भक्ति सेवा में ; yujyate — लगा हुआ है ; na — कभी नहीं ; atra — यहाँ ; saṁśayaḥ — संदेह करता है ।

*अनुवाद*

*जो व्यक्ति मेरी इस समृद्धि और रहस्यमयी शक्ति के प्रति वास्तव में आश्वस्त है, वह शुद्ध भक्ति सेवा में संलग्न रहता है; इसमें कोई संदेह नही है।*

*तात्पर्य*

आध्यात्मिक पूर्णता का सर्वोच्च शिखर भगवान का ज्ञान है। जब तक व्यक्ति भगवान के विभिन्न ऐश्वर्यों से पूरी तरह आश्वस्त न हो जाए, तब तक वह भक्ति में संलग्न नहीं हो सकता। सामान्यतः लोग जानते हैं कि भगवान महान हैं, लेकिन वे यह नहीं जानते कि भगवान किस प्रकार महान हैं। यहाँ इसका विस्तृत विवरण दिया गया है। यदि व्यक्ति यह जान ले कि भगवान किस प्रकार महान हैं, तो स्वाभाविक रूप से वह एकाग्र आत्मा बन जाता है और भगवान की भक्ति में संलग्न हो जाता है। जब व्यक्ति भगवान के ऐश्वर्यों को सत्यतः जान लेता है, तो उनके प्रति समर्पण के अलावा कोई विकल्प नहीं बचता। यह सत्यात्मक ज्ञान श्रीमद्-भागवतम् , भगवद्-गीता और इसी प्रकार के अन्य ग्रंथों में वर्णित विवरणों से प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

इस ब्रह्मांड के प्रशासन में अनेक देवता विराजमान हैं, जो पूरे ग्रहमंडल में फैले हुए हैं, और उनमें प्रमुख ब्रह्मा, भगवान शिव, चार महान कुमार और अन्य कुलपति हैं। ब्रह्मांड की जनसंख्या के अनेक पूर्वज हैं, और वे सभी परमेश्वर कृष्ण की संतान हैं। परमेश्वर कृष्ण समस्त पूर्वजों के मूल पूर्वज हैं।

ये परमेश्वर के कुछ ऐश्वर्य हैं। जब कोई इन गुणों से पूरी तरह आश्वस्त हो जाता है, तो वह पूर्ण श्रद्धा और बिना किसी संदेह के कृष्ण को स्वीकार करता है और भक्ति में लीन हो जाता है। यह सारा ज्ञान भगवान की प्रेममयी भक्ति में रुचि बढ़ाने के लिए आवश्यक है। कृष्ण की महानता को पूर्णतः समझना चाहिए, क्योंकि कृष्ण की महानता को जानकर ही व्यक्ति सच्ची भक्ति में स्थिर हो सकता है।

*Translation*

*One who is factually convinced of this opulence and mystic power of Mine engages in unalloyed devotional service; of this there is no doubt.*

*Purport*

The highest summit of spiritual perfection is knowledge of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Unless one is firmly convinced of the different opulences of the Supreme Lord, he cannot engage in devotional service. Generally people know that God is great, but they do not know in detail how God is great. Here are the details. If one knows factually how God is great, then naturally he becomes a surrendered soul and engages himself in the devotional service of the Lord. When one factually knows the opulences of the Supreme, there is no alternative but to surrender to Him. This factual knowledge can be known from the descriptions in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and Bhagavad-gītā and similar literatures.

In the administration of this universe there are many demigods distributed throughout the planetary system, and the chief of them are Brahmā, Lord Śiva and the four great Kumāras and the other patriarchs. There are many forefathers of the population of the universe, and all of them are born of the Supreme Lord, Kṛṣṇa. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, is the original forefather of all forefathers.

These are some of the opulences of the Supreme Lord. When one is firmly convinced of them, he accepts Kṛṣṇa with great faith and without any doubt, and he engages in devotional service. All this particular knowledge is required in order to increase one’s interest in the loving devotional service of the Lord. One should not neglect to understand fully how great Kṛṣṇa is, for by knowing the greatness of Kṛṣṇa one will be able to be fixed in sincere devotional service.

మోక్షగుండం విశ్వేశ్వరయ్య.

ఒక చోట ఒక పెద్ద ప్రాజెక్టు కడుతున్నారు.

ఒక పెద్ద బండరాయిని తొలగించేందుకు నలుగురు కూలీలు తీవ్రంగా కష్టపడుతున్నారు. అయినా ఆ రాయి కదలడం లేదు.

పక్కనే ఇంకో రాయి మీద కూర్చుని బీడీలు తాగుతున్న ఒక వ్యక్తి

“ఊ… తొయ్యండి… తొయ్యండి…” అంటూ పురమాయిస్తున్నాడు.

అదే సమయంలో అటుగా వెళ్తున్న ఓ పెద్దమనిషి ఆ దృశ్యం గమనించి,

“ఊరికే అలా అరవక నువ్వు కూడా సహాయం చేయొచ్చు కదా?” అన్నాడు.

అందుకు అతను గర్వంగా,

“నేను ప్రాజెక్ట్ సూపర్వైజర్‌ని… ఆ పని నాది కాదు” అన్నాడు.

అప్పుడు ఆ పెద్దమనిషే ముందుకు వచ్చి కూలీలతో కలిసి బండరాయిని కదిలించడంలో సహాయం చేశాడు. పని పూర్తయ్యాక ఆ సూపర్వైజర్ వైపు చూసి నెమ్మదిగా ఇలా అన్నాడు—

“నా పేరు మోక్షగుండం విశ్వేశ్వరయ్య.

ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుకు చీఫ్ ఇంజనీర్‌ని.

నీకు ఎప్పుడైనా ఇటువంటి అవసరం కలిగితే నన్ను పిలువు… నేను వస్తాను.”

అని చెప్పి వెళ్లిపోయాడు.

ఆ మాటలు విన్న సూపర్వైజర్ షాక్‌కు గురై, విశ్వేశ్వరయ్య గారి కాళ్లపై పడి క్షమించమని వేడుకున్నాడు.

‘పని పట్ల గౌరవం’, ‘పని దైవం వంటిది’ అంటే ఇదే.

ఏ పని చేస్తున్నారు అన్నది కాదు —

ఎంత శ్రద్ధగా, ఎంత వినయంగా చేస్తున్నారు అన్నదే అసలైన విలువ.

*बरसात के मौसम में सूर्य से जल उत्पन्न होता है, और कुछ समय बाद ग्रीष्म ऋतु में वही जल सूर्य द्वारा पुनः अवशोषित हो जाता है। इसी प्रकार, सभी सजीव और निर्जीव जीव पृथ्वी से उत्पन्न होते हैं, और कुछ समय बाद वे सब मिट्टी बनकर पृथ्वी में विलीन हो जाते हैं। इसी प्रकार, सब कुछ भगवान से उत्पन्न होता है, और समय के साथ सब कुछ उन्हीं में समाहित हो जाता है।*

*तात्पर्य*

अपने सीमित ज्ञान के कारण, निराकारवादी दार्शनिक यह नहीं समझ पाते कि सब कुछ परम पुरुष से कैसे उत्पन्न होता है और फिर उसी में विलीन हो जाता है। जैसा कि ब्रह्म-संहिता (5.40) पुष्टि करती है:

यस्य प्रभा प्रभावतो जगत-अण्ड-कोटि- 

कोटिश्व अशेष-वसुधादि-विभूति-भिन्नं 

तद् ब्रह्म निष्कलम् अनंतम् अशेष-भूतम् 

गोविंदम् आदि-पुरुषम् तम अहम् भजामि

कृष्ण के शरीर से दिव्य किरणें निकलती हैं, और उन किरणों में, जो ब्रह्म की ज्योति हैं, सब कुछ विद्यमान है। भगवद्गीता (9.4) में इसकी पुष्टि की गई है : मत्स्थानि सर्वभूतानि। यद्यपि कृष्ण स्वयं सर्वत्र विद्यमान नहीं हैं, उनकी ऊर्जा ही समस्त सृष्टि का स्रोत है। संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड कृष्ण की ऊर्जा का ही प्रदर्शन है।

इस श्लोक में दिए गए दो उदाहरण अत्यंत स्पष्ट हैं। वर्षा ऋतु में, बारिश पृथ्वी पर वनस्पतियों के उत्पादन को पुनर्जीवित करके मनुष्य और पशुओं को जीवन शक्ति प्रदान करती है। जब बारिश नहीं होती, तो भोजन की कमी हो जाती है और मनुष्य और पशु मर जाते हैं। सभी वनस्पतियां, साथ ही गतिशील जीव, मूल रूप से पृथ्वी की उपज हैं। वे पृथ्वी से उत्पन्न होते हैं और फिर पृथ्वी में विलीन हो जाते हैं। इसी प्रकार, संपूर्ण भौतिक ऊर्जा कृष्ण के शरीर से उत्पन्न होती है और उस समय संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांडीय अभिव्यक्ति दिखाई देती है। जब कृष्ण अपनी ऊर्जा को समेट लेते हैं, तो सब कुछ लुप्त हो जाता है। ब्रह्म-संहिता (5.48) में इसका अलग तरीके से वर्णन किया गया है ।

यह संपूर्ण भौतिक सृष्टि भगवान के शरीर से उत्पन्न होती है और संहार के समय पुनः उन्हीं में समाहित हो जाती है। सृष्टि और संहार की यह प्रक्रिया महा-विष्णु की श्वास से संभव होती है, जो कृष्ण का ही एक अंश हैं।

*Translation*

*During the rainy season, water is generated from the sun, and in due course of time, during the summer season, the very same water is again absorbed by the sun. Similarly, all living entities, moving and inert, are generated from the earth, and again, after some time, they all return to the earth as dust. Similarly, everything emanates from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and in due course of time everything enters into Him again.*

*Purport*

Because of their poor fund of knowledge, impersonalist philosophers cannot understand how everything comes out from the Supreme Person and then merges into Him again. As Brahma-saṁhitā (5.40) confirms:

yasya prabhā prabhavato jagad-aṇḍa-koṭi-

koṭiṣv aśeṣa-vasudhādi-vibhūti-bhinnam

tad brahma niṣkalam anantam aśeṣa-bhūtaṁ

govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi

Transcendental rays emanate from the body of Kṛṣṇa, and within those rays, which are the Brahman effulgence, everything is existing. This is confirmed in Bhagavad-gītā (9.4): mat-sthāni sarva-bhūtāni. Although Kṛṣṇa is not personally present everywhere, His energy is the cause of all creation. The entire cosmic manifestation is nothing but a display of Kṛṣṇa’s energy.

The two examples given in this verse are very vivid. During the rainy season, the rain, by rejuvenating the production of vegetables on earth, enables man and animals to obtain living energy. When there is no rain, food is scarce, and man and animal simply die. All vegetables, as well as moving living entities, are originally products of the earth. They come from the earth, and again they merge into the earth. Similarly, the total material energy is generated from the body of Kṛṣṇa, and at such a time the entire cosmic manifestation is visible. When Kṛṣṇa winds up His energy, everything vanishes. This is explained in a different way in Brahma-saṁhitā (5.48):

This entire material creation comes from the body of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and at the time of annihilation again enters into Him. This process of creation and dissolution is made possible by the breathing of the Mahā-Viṣṇu, who is only a plenary portion of Kṛṣṇa.

*जैसे पेड़ की जड़ में पानी डालने से तना, शाखाएँ, टहनियाँ और सब कुछ ऊर्जावान हो जाता है, और जैसे पेट को भोजन देने से शरीर की इंद्रियाँ और अंग सजीव हो जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार केवल भक्ति सेवा के माध्यम से भगवान की पूजा करने से स्वतः ही उन देवताओं को तृप्ति मिलती है, जो उस भगवान के अंश हैं।*

*तात्पर्य*

कभी-कभी लोग पूछते हैं कि यह कृष्ण चेतना आंदोलन केवल कृष्ण की पूजा का ही समर्थन क्यों करता है, अन्य देवताओं की पूजा क्यों नहीं करता। इसका उत्तर इस श्लोक में दिया गया है। वृक्ष की जड़ पर जल डालने का उदाहरण अत्यंत उपयुक्त है। भगवद्गीता (15.1) में कहा गया है, ऊर्ध्व-मूलम अधः-शाखम्: यह ब्रह्मांडीय अभिव्यक्ति नीचे की ओर विस्तारित हुई है, और जड़ परमेश्वर हैं। जैसा कि भगवान भगवद्गीता (10.8) में पुष्टि करते हैं , अहं सर्वस्य प्रभावः: “मैं समस्त आध्यात्मिक और भौतिक जगतों का स्रोत हूँ।” कृष्ण ही सब कुछ की जड़ हैं; अत: भगवान कृष्ण की सेवा करना ( कृष्ण-सेवा ) स्वतः ही सभी देवताओं की सेवा करना है। कभी-कभी यह तर्क दिया जाता है कि कर्म और ज्ञान के सफल निष्पादन के लिए भक्ति का मिश्रण आवश्यक है , और कभी-कभी यह तर्क दिया जाता है कि भक्ति के सफल समापन के लिए भी कर्म और ज्ञान आवश्यक हैं । वास्तव में, यह तथ्य है कि यद्यपि कर्म और ज्ञान भक्ति के बिना सफल नहीं हो सकते , भक्ति को कर्म और ज्ञान की सहायता की आवश्यकता नहीं है । वास्तव में, जैसा कि श्रील रूप गोस्वामी ने वर्णित किया है, अन्याभिलाषित-शून्यं ज्ञान-कर्माद्य-अनावृतम्: शुद्ध भक्ति सेवा कर्म और ज्ञान के स्पर्श से दूषित नहीं होनी चाहिए । आधुनिक समाज अनेक प्रकार के परोपकारी कार्यों, मानवतावादी कार्यों आदि में लगा हुआ है, परन्तु लोग यह नहीं जानते कि ये सभी कार्य तब तक सफल नहीं हो सकते जब तक परमेश्वर कृष्ण को केंद्र में न लाया जाए। कोई पूछ सकता है कि कृष्ण और उनके शरीर के विभिन्न अंगों, देवताओं की पूजा करने में क्या हानि है, और इसका उत्तर भी इस श्लोक में दिया गया है। बात यह है कि तृप्ति को भोजन प्रदान करने से इंद्रियाँ स्वतः ही तृप्त हो जाती हैं। यदि कोई अपनी आँखों या कानों को अलग से तृप्त करने का प्रयास करे, तो परिणाम केवल विनाश ही होगा। केवल तृप्ति को भोजन प्रदान करने से ही हमारी समस्त इंद्रियाँ तृप्त हो जाती हैं। प्रत्येक इंद्रिय की अलग से सेवा करना न तो आवश्यक है और न ही संभव। निष्कर्ष यह है कि कृष्ण की सेवा ( कृष्ण-सेवा ) करने से ही सब कुछ पूर्ण हो जाता है। चैतन्य-चरितामृत ( मध्य 22.62) में पुष्टि की गई है , kṛṣṇe bhakti kaile sarva-karma kṛta haya: यदि कोई भगवान, परम पुरुषोत्तम भगवान की भक्ति सेवा में लगा रहता है, तो सब कुछ स्वतः ही पूर्ण हो जाता है।

*Translation*

*As pouring water on the root of a tree energizes the trunk, branches, twigs and everything else, and as supplying food to the stomach enlivens the senses and limbs of the body, simply worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead through devotional service automatically satisfies the demigods, who are parts of that Supreme Personality.*

*Purport*

Sometimes people ask why this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement simply advocates worship of Kṛṣṇa to the exclusion of the demigods. The answer is given in this verse. The example of pouring water on the root of a tree is very appropriate. In Bhagavad-gītā (15.1) it is said, ūrdhva-mūlam adhaḥ-śākham: this cosmic manifestation has expanded downward, and the root is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As the Lord confirms in Bhagavad-gītā (10.8), ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavaḥ: “I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds.” Kṛṣṇa is the root of everything; therefore rendering service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa (kṛṣṇa-sevā), means automatically serving all the demigods. Sometimes it is argued that karma and jñāna require a mixture of bhakti in order to be successfully executed, and sometimes it is argued that bhakti also requires karma and jñāna for its successful termination. The fact is, however, that although karma and jñāna cannot be successful without bhakti, bhakti does not require the help of karma and jñāna. Actually, as described by Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī, anyābhilāṣitā-śūnyaṁ jñāna-karmādy-anāvṛtam: pure devotional service should not be contaminated by the touch of karma and jñāna. Modern society is involved in various types of philanthropic works, humanitarian works and so on, but people do not know that these activities will never be successful unless Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is brought into the center. One may ask what harm there is in worshiping Kṛṣṇa and the different parts of His body, the demigods, and the answer is also given in this verse. The point is that by supplying food to the stomach, the indriyas, the senses, are automatically satisfied. If one tries to feed his eyes or ears independently, the result is only havoc. Simply by supplying food to the stomach, we satisfy all of the senses. It is neither necessary nor feasible to render separate service to the individual senses. The conclusion is that by serving Kṛṣṇa (kṛṣṇa-sevā), everything is complete. As confirmed in Caitanya-caritāmṛta (Madhya 22.62), kṛṣṇe bhakti kaile sarva-karma kṛta haya: if one is engaged in the devotional service of the Lord, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, everything is automatically accomplished.
