Thumb painting
In Thumb painting or finger paint, a jelly-like consistency of the paint is applied with one's hands or fingers instead of a brush.
The record of the Largest thumb painting in India is held by 12 students of class 2 & 3 from Vivega CBSE School, Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India.
On Dec 12, 2012, these 12 children used 1,21,212 thumbprints to create a picture of size measuring 420 sq ft and worked for 4 hr 40 min. They started the painting at 9.20 am at the school premises and finished it off at 2 pm.
The three R's-Reduce, Reuse, Recycle — were also depicted around an image of the map of India.
