The temple is located on top of a small hill, and visitors need to climb around 60–80 steps to reach it. Saturdays are usually crowded. I visited on a Saturday and opted for the Antara Aalaya Darshan. It took about 20 minutes for darshan as visitors are allowed inside in batches of around 20 people at a time.
Although the Antara Aalaya Darshan involves batch-wise entry, the free darshan queue moved relatively faster despite being long. One key difference is the viewing distance: during Antara Aalaya Darshan, the deity can be seen from about 7 feet away, whereas in free darshan the distance is around 25 feet.
